Job Description:
Rise Baking Company, a leader in premium cookies, dessert bars,
artisan breads, and flatbreads, is seeking a dedicated Quality
Assurance Manager to oversee our rigorous QA processes, ensuring
our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality. In
this role, you will spearhead initiatives to enhance product
excellence across North Americas most prominent food service
providers and retailers. This position offers a unique opportunity
to impact product excellence directly, maintaining our commitment
to exceptional baked goods. Develop and implement quality assurance
policies and procedures. Direct and oversee the inspection and
testing of materials and products to ensure adherence to
established quality standards. Coordinate with production and
operations to identify QA problems and solutions. Lead, train, and
manage QA team members to ensure high performance and alignment
with industry regulations. Prepare reports by collecting,
analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations for
improvement. Maintain and improve product quality by completing
product, company, system, and compliance audits. Investigate
customer complaints and non-conformance issues. Update job
knowledge by studying trends and developments in quality
management; participating in educational opportunities; reading
professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
participating in professional organizations. Proven expertise in
Quality Management Systems (QMS) Strong leadership and personnel
management skills Excellent organizational and communication skills
Analytical thinking and attention to detail Proficiency in data
analysis and reporting Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality
