Job Description:
A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative
to manage outstanding receivables and ensure timely insurance
payments.
Key Responsibilities
Contact insurance carriers and patients to obtain payment on
outstanding claims
Investigate and resolve denied claims, identifying trends and payer
behaviors
Prepare documentation for appeals and process claims to ensure
timely reimbursement
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in insurance follow-up
2+ years of working knowledge of EOB, COB, Remits, and CMS 1500
2+ years of experience in appeal writing and processing
Working knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology,
and basic Anatomy
