Join us.Summary/Objective:The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is the designated SpineZone teammate responsible for implementing the Physical Therapist's care plan at one or more SpineZone locations. The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) primary focus is on day-to-day patient care to deliver the highest quality of rehabilitative care to our patientsSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Essential Job Functions:Take patients through therapeutic workout as designed by Physical TherapistMaintain standardized clinical protocols and process around SpineZone programPerform MedX or DAVID equipment testing effectively and communicate instructions to patientAddress clinical related concerns directly and timely to PT & CMComplete encounter note information for each patient visit utilizing EHR Portal SystemEnsure Portal dashboards are maintained adequately with timely follow upAssist Maintenance Program patients as neededPerform posture analysis at assigned intervalsUpdate Primary Care Physician at assigned intervalsMaintain Productivity at a minimum of 85%Strive to achieve all Clinical KPI benchmarksLead Clinical conversations after returning from additional CEU competencyParticipate in bi-weekly webinars and live meetingsMaintain a clean workout area and overall clinic cleanliness and organizationEnsure all billing is completed daily in AthenaProvide outstanding customer service skills and engage well with patientsServes as backup for a Patient Service Representative upon clinic demandsSchedule/reschedule appointment; retrieving messages andinsuring proper messages to be relayedCollection of copays and other fees required prior to the office visit or treatmentFollows all HIPAA regulations and compliance.Ensure state regulatory requirements are met with PT, supervisionAll other related duties assignedSkills and Qualifications:Active Physical Therapist Assistant license from the state of CaliforniaAssociates of Physical TherapyExperience in athletic training, EMT, physical therapy aide, and/or personal training preferred.Valid CPR CertificateAbility to multitask effectively and efficientlyAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to remain organized and time managementAbility to remain calm and collective during stressful situationsStrong communication skills both verbally and writtenStrong attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office and Google DriveOutstanding customer serviceWhy Join SpineZone?SpineZone is a great place to be if you are passionate about helping others and want a place to grow! The position walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves continually during working hours. The position is subject to lifting objects weighing over 50 pounds, pushing wheelchairs, and transporting and supporting residents. The employee must be constantly alert for patient safety.
