Medical Center is currently in need of highly skilled Registered
Nurses (RN) with a minimum of three (3) years of Progressive Care
experience as Progressive Care Unit RN. RNs are responsible for
intense interventions, lifesaving treatments and complex care for
patients with life-threatening illness or conditions. RNs will be
floating to fast paced SDU to care for patients receiving constant
cardiac monitoring and are acutely ill with a variety of medical
conditions such as recovering from surgery, and have a variety of
other medical needs, thereby enabling intervention of
life-threatening or emergency situations. RNs will float within the
assigned Facility; and/or from a DHS Facility to another DHS
Facility as needed; and/or be scheduled to a Workweek assignment
between Facilities as needed. DHS Facilities include but not
limited to LA General Medical Center, Harbor UCLA Medical Center,
Olive View UCLA Medical Center, and Rancho Los Amigos National
Rehabilitation Center. Ensure that profiles are submitted only for
RNs who are fully committed to working a per diem assignment.
Required certifications include active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS,
NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card
(must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu
