Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 3 years required License: Valid state license must be in hand; no temporary licenses accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required; AWHONN Advanced preferred Must-Have: - Must be able to circulate - First-time travelers not accepted - Pending license not accepted - All requested time off must be provided at the time of submittal - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays Description: The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for providing care to patients during the labor and delivery process. This role requires the ability to circulate in the operating room. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing. All travelers are expected to float between facilities within a given state. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Communication devices needed to perform duties will be provided at no cost. Providers will be responsible for submitting any work-related cell phone bills directly to the agency. Modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment and annually. Completion time for modules is self-reported.
