DESIGN PROJECT ENGINEER / METRO - Job DescriptionSupport the design/pre-construction team with all reports, documentation, management, document control, communications and coordination; initially relative to Utility Locations and Assessments, as noted in the minimum qualifications and scope verbiage below.

• Minimum Qualifications: -Five (5) years of experience as Design Project Engineer on public works projects of similar nature (Transit preferred)
• Minimum Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or other-related field.
• Minimum Qualifications: -Competent in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Desirable: Familiarity with CAD Journey & BIM Collaborate Pro - Architecture Engineering & Construction Collection from Autodesk.
• Please note---NO Benefits for this position! Salary will compensate.
• Location: Los Angeles, CA
• Attend weekly design and construction progress meetings, readiness review meetings, Third party coordination meetings, and other meetings. Review and publish meeting minutes.
• Compile and review comments from Metro and consultants for transmission to the Program Management team.
• Review, for compliance, the submittal requirements and process in a timely manner, verify all open issues area addressed, and following the review by Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Agency or its engineering consultant.
• Identify work activities that require Construction Work Plans (CWPs). Assist in the review of CWPs and readiness review meetings.
• Support the Program Management team on this Los Angeles Metro project.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour, depending on related experience and qualifications.
