ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This position offers an
opportunity to provide essential speech-language support as a
Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a K-12
educational setting in the Baltimore area. Serving two elementary
schools, the role focuses on PreK through 5th-grade students,
helping young learners develop their communication skills in an
engaging and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
speech-language pathology services under the supervision of
licensed professionals. Collaborate with teachers, families, and
school staff to create effective intervention plans. Conduct
screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring for students.
Maintain detailed documentation and reports per school district
requirements. Participate in team meetings and professional
development opportunities. Qualifications and Experience: Active
Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology
Assistant. Experience working with children in PreK-5th grade
preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability
to manage caseloads across multiple school locations. Dedication to
fostering growth in students with diverse communication needs.
Position Details: Location: Baltimore area, Maryland (Magnolia
Elementary and Prospect Mill Elementary). Schedule: Full-time, 37.5
hours per week; 3 days at Magnolia Elementary, 2 days at Prospect
Mill Elementary. Duration: February 16, 2026, to May 29, 2026, with
potential extension through an Extended School Year program in
July. Contract: Temporary school year assignment. Benefits of this
