yourself! The\nLead Principal Radiologic Technologist (LPRT),
supervised by the General\nDiagnostic Manager and Medical Director,
operates radiographic equipment to\nproduce diagnostic images
following prescribed protocols and procedures. As the\nLPRT you
will demonstrate proficiency in conducting procedures on
patients\nacross all age groups, ensuring timely completion of
studies with adherence to\nquality standards. Moreover, it is
expected that you educate patients, assist\nin sterile technique
procedures and uphold patient confidentiality throughout\nthe
examination process. Additionally, proficiency in enhanced
fluoroscopic duties\nin areas such as GI and GU arenas,
Angiography, or Pediatric Diagnostics is an\nintegral aspect of
this position. The LPRT is\nexpected to support UCLA healthcare
radiology locations in the Westwood and\nSanta Monica region.
Support at all radiology sites\nstaffed by UCLA Health is required.
All Radiologic Technologists need to\npossess the skills, knowledge
and abilities essential to the successful\nperformance of duties
assigned to the position; graduate of a Radiologic\nTechnology
Training Program approved by the American Medical Association
or\nequivalent training, maintaining current CRT, CRT – Fluoro and
ARRT licensure. Salary: $58.74 - $77.50 Hourly \n Qualifications \n

Completion\n of minimum 2 years’ experience in General Diagnostic
environment –\n preferred \n Specialized\n in more than two areas
above and Special Fluoroscopic Procedures/C-Arms –\n preferred \n
Ability\n to precept New Hires and Students \n Accredited\n
Radiologic Technologist Program graduate – required \n Ability\n to
adapt to advancement and changing technology \n Knowledge\n of
medical terminology, with ability to distinguish between types of\n
procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses
\n Skill\n in employing independent decision making while
performing various job\n functions \n Telephone\n manners and
skills to handle heavy telephone lines with courtesy and tact \n
Understand the requirements of the EMTALA\n (Emergency Medical
Treatment and Active Labor Act) \n \n\n \n
