Job Description Job Description Our client, a well-established apparel brand recognized for its commitment to fit, comfort, and timeless design — is seeking a Staff Accountant to support its growing finance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities: • Manage daily accounting operations using QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), ensuring accuracy and completeness of all entries • Prepare journal entries and support the Controller with month-end close activities, including bank reconciliations • Maintain A/R and A/P functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing • Generate periodic financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other internal reporting needs • Ensure all financial records are organized, accurate, and up to date • Collaborate with internal teams on item setup and configuration for mass retail accounts Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience • Bachelor's degree in Accounting • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail • Experience working with mass retail accounts and item configuration • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively • Ability to work independently, maintain composure under pressure, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply logic and reasoning to resolve issues
